After scoring for Manchester United vs Villarreal on Tuesday, Cristiano Ronaldo has set another record.
Villarreal vs Manchester United
Manchester United played out their 4th Champions League group stage clash of the seaosn on Tuesday.
The Red Devils headed into the game sat top of their CL group, but aware that a loss on the evening could have seen them finish the day down in 3rd, which would of course, be a spot that would relegate them to the Europa League should they finish the group stage there.
And, for much of the evening, it did look as though Michael Carrick’s side could have been heading for a defeat.
Villarreal dominated for large periods of the game and created a lot of chances. However, Man United were able to stay in the tie in large part thanks to the heroics of David de Gea.
