Revealed: When Raphael Varane could make his Man United debut

Raphael was officially confirmed as a Manchester United player ahead of the Leeds clash on Saturday afternoon.

The Frenchman has signed a deal with the Manchester outfit that will keep him at the club until 2025:

Varane, 28, is believed to have set the Red Devils back an initial £34m.

After signing with the Red Devils, Varane had this to say:

“Manchester United is one of the most iconic clubs in world football and the chance to come here and play in the Premier League is something I couldn’t turn down.

“There is a lot more that I want to achieve in my career and I know I’m joining a squad full of great players who will all have the same determination to win matches and trophies. Having spoken to the manager I can see how much progress has been made over the last few seasons and I now join a group ready to play at the highest level.

“I want to make an impact here and I will give everything to become part of this club’s illustrious history.”

When will Varane make Man United debut?

Now, with the season up and running and Varane confirmed as a United player, fans of Man United are no doubt eager to see the World Cup winner in action.

But when will Varane make his Man United debut?

The Manchester Evening News have provided some insight into this situation on Monday.

They report that Varane is expected to train with his new teammates for the first time today (Monday).

And, on his potential debut, they state:

Raphael Varane could make his Man United debut this week in their Premier League fixture at Southampton.

Varane is set to be included in the traveling squad to face Southampton, potentially at the expense of Brandon Williams, who could go out on loan before the summer window ends.
